Children bring their lunch, eat with their teachers and enjoy additional socialization time. Costs are added as part of your monthly tuition and last month’s tuition is due upon enrollment. Drop-in will be available at the rate of $10 per day, as space is available.
Lunch Bunch will also be available at the Phelan campus with a schedule to be announced in the Fall.
If you have questions, or wish to schedule a classroom visit, contact us at (408) 446-4166 or rsmay@maccpreschool.org.
MACC also offers a 2-year Tot Time class at Eastus, two mornings a week with new sessions beginning at 7-week intervals throughout the school year. Parent participation is required at one of the classes each week. A Mommy & Me class is offered at Phelan one day per week in three 8-week sessions. Parent participation is required for this class.
REGISTRATION
Current and returning families may register beginning January 11. To register, return all state-mandated forms with a non-refundable $65.00 Enrollment Fee ($75.00 for two children in the same family). Make checks payable to MACC. Incomplete packets will not be accepted. The Physician's Report must be filed before school opens (or within one month of admission if later in the year) and if the child begins attendance before its completion, an immunization record with up-to-date shots must be filed before the child may attend class. MACC offers a 10% discount for a second and/or third child in one family in the 3- and 4-year preschool classes. In order to register for Preschool, child must be the designated age by December 2 of the school year for which s/he is registering, and toilet-trained. Please prioritize your class preference. If we cannot place your child in your first choice s/he will be placed on the waiting list for that class and enrolled in the first choice available. The first tuition payment is due upon registration, or August 1; is credited to the last month of the school year, and is non-refundable.
Registrations after September 1 require two (2) months tuition at the time of placement. Tuition is due on the first class day of each month, September through April. After the 7th of each month, a $10.00 late fee is charged. September and December are full tuition months as the annual cost has been divided into nine equal payments. A child entering in mid-year pays either one-half, or the full monthly fee depending upon whether admission is before or after the 15th of the month. Waiting Lists are maintained for one School Year so if your child cannot be placed at the time you apply, you will be called when an opening occurs. In the event of a conflict the decision of the Site Director is final in class placement.
