Preschool Programs at the Eastus Campus

3 year-old Classes

The 3's Program (Tuesday & Thursday) is designed to provide a welcoming and safe indoor and outdoor atmosphere for the first-time student. Our focus is on helping the child develop good social skills and a positive self-esteem. Throughout the year, class sessions will provide exposure to many art media, language experiences, music, movement and science. Colors, numbers and the alphabet are introduced in an encouraging and playful way.

4 year-old Classes

The 4's Program (Monday, Wednesday & Friday) is designed to encourage curiosity and creativity. Our balanced curriculum provides daily activities in math, science, language, and the arts. Our program introduces phonemic aware through Zoo-Phonics.This is a kinesthetic method for teaching alphabet sounds, letter recognition and pre-reading skills.

Our indoor environment has many creative corners to explore including a creative arts center, puzzles, playdough table, listening center, library, dramatic play area and hands-on science center. Our outdoor environment provides exposure to sand, water, gardening, tricycles and climbing structures.

We leave campus for field trips several times during the year to extend the classroom experience. We also explore the performing arts by preparing two vocal performances during the school year. The 4's program is a complete educational experience that prepares the child for kindergarten success.

2 year-old Classes

The 2's Program offers two classes that meet twice a week. Join us to make new friends and enjoy songs, indoor and outdoor play, simple art exploration in a small group setting. Children must be at least 21 months old at the start of the session. Parent participation is required.
